At Extra-Help® Beverley and surrounding areas (please see areas above), our aim is to provide help of an outstanding standard.
I am very proud to be able to offer Extra Help® to everyone in our community. This includes the elderly, families, busy professionals and anyone who needs a helping hand on a regular or ad hoc basis.
I understand how important it is to provide a service that really puts the client first and I am passionate about assisting our growing elderly population to remain independent in their own homes. We can help with cleaning, shopping and provide companionship as well as enabling clients of all ages to continue to do the things they enjoy out and about in the community.
I have a small team of dedicated home helpers in place who provide help with genuine kindness, care and compassion. We take enormous pride in providing a high-quality, exceptional service to all our customers.
I have enjoyed a rewarding and varied career in education over the past 25 years working as a teacher and SEN support assistant. I have a counselling qualification which has helped me to gain invaluable skills and experience in helping people from a wide range of different backgrounds in a person-centred way and I understand from my own personal experience of helping loved ones, just how significant a little bit of help and companionship can be to someone. I thrive on making a positive difference to the lives of others and genuinely feel a sense of accomplishment by helping people.
Extra Help® is fully insured, and all my home helpers are personally interviewed and DBS and reference-checked, to provide you with extra reassurance. We provide a caring service with continuity and consistency.
We aim to provide the same home helper each visit to foster a good relationship between client and helper but, if this is ever not possible, we’ll always honour our commitment to you and send an alternative helper. Our service is very flexible, and we work around your needs.
Services include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship – popping in for a cuppa and chat, trips out or providing respite for carers

- Shopping – providing lifts, helping to shop or going shopping for client
