At Extra-Help® Portsmouth & the surroundings, we aim to help everyone. I am passionate about helping our elderly population remain independent in their own homes by providing support with housekeeping and shopping, as well as allowing busy individuals more opportunities to spend time with friends and family.
I am proud to offer Extra Help to everyone in our community. This includes the elderly, parents, busy professionals, and anyone who needs a helping hand on a regular or ad hoc basis.
With over a decade of experience in the healthcare sector, combined with expertise in education and management training, I am committed to driving positive change in my community. My background in healthcare has equipped me with deep insights into operational efficiency, high-quality care, and health system challenges. As an educator and trainer, I have empowered professionals with the skills needed to excel in leadership, provide evidence-based expertise, and deliver exceptional care, which I look forward to sharing with our community.
I have a team of home helpers in place who share my values of being kind, caring, responsible, and compassionate. They take enormous pride in providing a high-quality, exceptional service to all of our customers.
Extra Help® is fully insured, and all of my home helpers are personally interviewed and DBS and reference-checked to provide you with extra reassurance. We provide a caring service with continuity and consistency.
Services include, but are not limited to:
• Companionship – popping in, spending some time, or providing respite for carers
• Domestic cleaning, tidying, laundry, and ironing
• Shopping
• Transport to supermarket, doctors, hospital appointments, hairdressers
• Meal preparation
• Household jobs
• Spring cleaning
• School runs and help for parents
• Gardening and DIY
• Assistance to social events
• Household maintenance
I aim to provide the same home helper each visit, to allow a relationship to develop and make the service more personal. Our service is very flexible and we work around your needs.
