At Extra-Help^® Sandwell (also covering Part of West Birmingham), it’s a privilege to be able to offer Extra Help® to everyone in our community when needed most.

I am passionate about assisting our elderly and vulnerable population to remain independent in their own homes for longer by providing support with their needs including housekeeping, meal preparation, domestic cleaning, shopping, companionship, gardening and attending appointments.

Extra Help® is fully insured and all our home helpers are personally interviewed and DBS and reference-checked, to provide you with extra reassurance. We provide a friendly, caring service with continuity and consistency. Clients are allocated to a home helper and we try our best to have the same home helper for every visit when possible.

As a registered nurse with 14 years’ experience including working in the community arranging package of care for different patient groups, I am cognizant of the need’s individuals may have that they sometimes find difficult to gain the right support for. Also, as a working mom, I understand the challenges faced with not having enough time or energy to complete every task daily without having to sacrifice time for self-care or family time. It is therefore a fact, that we all need that extra help to make these hard days easier.

I have a team of home helpers in place who share my values of being kind, caring and compassionate. They take enormous pride in providing a high-quality, exceptional service to all our customers.

Services include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship – popping in, spending some time or providing respite for carers.
• Domestic cleaning, tidying, laundry an ironing

• Transport to supermarket, doctors, hospital appointments, hairdressers.
