At Extra-Help® St Albans my aim is to help everyone in the AL postcode area.

I am proud to offer Extra Help to everyone in our community. This includes the elderly, parents, professionals, families, and anyone who needs a helping hand on a regular or ad hoc basis.

I am passionate about helping our elderly population, recognising how important it is to remain independent in their own homes. We can do this by providing helpers where needed for tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, domestic cleaning, shopping and attending appointments. Companionship is also pivotal to help and support anyone feeling alone or lonely.

For those seeking help with everyday tasks we can provide helpers for one off / regular clean / end of tenancy cleans, gardening and household maintenance. Why not enjoy quality time with friends and family and let Extra Help St Albans provide what you need.

Extra Help St Albans is fully insured and all our home helpers are personally interviewed, DBS and reference-checked, providing you with the reassurance you would want. We will provide a caring service with continuity, kindness and consistency.

As a Police Officer of 21 years, I experienced those in the community who are most vulnerable and need help at home. On leaving the police, I continued in adult safeguarding and qualified in care. During this time I recognised there is a real need in the community for time to be spent with those who need help and support with daily living. For me, Extra Help St Albans isn’t just about the service we provide to you it is about how it is provided. You, your family member, child or home will be treated with kindness, compassion, respect with hopefully some fun and laughter along the way!
