Mothers Help In A Nutshell | Whatever you need, when you need us …

This week we thought that Mothers Help needed more of an explanation as to what it actually is and what we do for new parents. It was originally created out of a real need – mine! You will recall our previous blog about when my son came out of hospital …

mothers help can work with you to create a better work/life balance

As he needed my undivided attention, I was incredibly grateful for the assistance our team offered. Since then Mothers Help has grown to become a mother’s extra pair of hands. Mothers Help can mean many things to many people and although the name is “Mothers Help” it’s for fathers too. Mothers Help is a service determined by our clients, as with all our services, because everyone’s needs are different.

Mothers Help is not a child-minding or nanny service – it’s one which enables parents to live life to the full and enjoy parenting. Working from home with children is possible with a part-time pair of hands to cover household chores like cooking, cleaning, errands and so much more. Here are a couple of examples of how we can help:

  • Cooking baby food from scratch is one of the tasks I enjoy the most and have taught many parents how easy it is to use raw foods to create meals for their children. My son had complex dietary needs so I am aware how overwhelmed a new parent can feel. We will plan, prepare, cook and freeze the meals for you. How great would it feel to open the freezer and know you have a wide selection of nutritious food available?

  • Mothers Help can provide school transport ensuring your child will be on time and home promptly after school. As parents we are under pressure to deliver our children to school on time, but when you have different children at schools miles apart how do you choose who is late? With our service you can take one and we take the other. That would give you peace of mind wouldn’t it?

Just giving you two scenarios may not be enough but as a mother I know the things that are expected of me and without Mothers Help, I may possibly be non-existent as a person by now. Feeling depressed does my children no favours, I want them to grow up knowing that there are challenges in life and they can overcome them with the right help.

We can help change your thinking from that of “I can’t cope” to “I want to be the best parent I can and if help is there then I will utilise it”. Mothers Help really does make it easier for you.

According to UK law anyone working with children has to be fully CRB checked to Enhanced Level and we can assure you that your helper will be checked and can provide you with a certificate at your initial introduction.

Whatever you need, we will give you a bespoke service on a regular or ad-hoc basis. Why not call us today on +44 (0) 845 6182904 or click here to ping over an email and we’ll get right back to you.
