Are you a Mum? Working from home? Running your own business? Juggling lots of balls in the air? If you are, I bet you recognise the familiar feelings of sometimes running around like a headless chicken, wondering how to fit everything in – even with the best laid plans!
When we started Extra Help, the concept developed with help for the Elderly. This has gone down a storm however when we were networking – especially in women only groups – we found a huge gap which our services could fill.
Many women set up their own businesses once they have had children and work from home, or – like me – they run a business with their husband. I was a Nursery Nurse when I left school; I worked for Social Services in Inner London with many children on the child protection register. Once I had my own children, I found this job increasingly difficult to do. My husband of the time was a self-employed electrician, so we decided I would leave work and we would concentrate on building his business. With my help and support, we built the Company from almost nothing to a million pound turnover and substantial profit within seven years.
At the time it was tough being at home with the children and running the office side of the business. I loved being there for my children but sometimes could have done with an extra pair of hands. If Extra Help Mothers Help had existed then, it would have been ideal!
Our friendly and caring Mother’s Helps are on hand to help you out with anything you may need, from preparing meals, helping out at birthday parties, taking your children to activities, social groups and appointments, keeping their rooms and play areas tidy and helping with homework, to simply keeping them occupied while you work or recharge your batteries.
With all our Mother’s Helpers being fully Criminal Reference Bureau, personally interviewed and reference checked, you can rest assured that your children will always be in the best possible hands!
