Why I Bought An Extra Help Franchise | They were so helpful to me …

This week we thought we would continue the franchise theme from our previous couple of blog posts. We asked one of our franchisees to tell us why she decided that an Extra Help franchise was the right one for her …

everyone would welcome some extra help from time to time

She told us, “I became interested in becoming a franchisee of Extra Help about 8 months ago now because my Mum had been diagnosed with Alzheimers and she was struggling to stay independent at home.

I was working full time and found it a struggle to cope with looking after my Mum and my family as well as continuing to work. It was then that I contacted Extra Help in Milton Keynes to organise some additional support for my Mum – and for me!

I realised then that there must be a lot of other people out there struggling and could do with the services of Extra Help. I felt that as I had personal experience of caring for my Mum I could bring some understanding as well as much-needed support to my own clients and build up a good business.

It was then that I contacted Sarah to enquire about becoming a franchisee. We looked at the area where I lived and decided the West side of Leicester would be my best option. Of course, it’s early days yet as my area is only 4 months old but I’m really enjoying it.”

Extra Help was originally set up as domestic help for the elderly, however since the launch in 2010 we have grown into other areas too:

  • Mothers Help – providing support for new Parents or Mums/Dads working from home who need a helping hand

  • Extra help for Everyone – which provides all our services for working professionals, be it housekeeping, meal preparation or dog walking we can help

All this, along with a domestic cleaning company makes us – as far as we know – a unique franchise opportunity.

If you’d like any more information on our franchise please call us on +44 (0) 845 618 2904, ping us an email or download our prospectus from our main website. We look forward to hearing from you!

Until next time …
