September has been a busy month for us here at Extra Help Head Office. As well as running the busy Plymouth and South East Cornwall franchise, we have also been celebrating our successes with the Devon Venus Awards 2015 …
We’re so pleased that Claire may be in the finals of the Devon Venus Awards 2015!
As you may know, Claire, our Managing Director, has made it through to the semi-finals of the Devon Venus Awards 2015, in the Entrepreneur of the Year category. All of the Head Office team and our franchisees are extremely proud of Claire’s achievements!
Claire has been in business for the last 17 years and has been involved with the set-up and development of several different companies. Her most recent venture, Extra Help, was launched in 2010 in both Milton Keynes and Plymouth as it was recognised that there was a gap in the market for a ‘one-stop-shop’ that provided domestic and home help services, to anyone who needs them.
Thanks to Claire’s extraordinary commitment over the past 5 years, Extra Help has since been franchised throughout the country and now operates in 12 different areas nationwide. It’s a brilliant company to work for and Claire is inspirational. As well as running an excellent business, she also supports various charity events, completed the Rock Solid Race earlier this year and also took part in the St Luke’s Midnight Walk.

The finalists for the Devon Venus Awards 2015 are being announced on Friday 9th October at an afternoon tea event. We all wish Claire the very best of luck as she thoroughly deserves to get through to the final.
