Devon Venus Awards 2015: We’re In The Semi-Finals! It’s a great honour for both of us …

I’m really pleased to let you know that Extra Help’s very own Louise Pen-Collings is a semi-finalist in the Devon Venus awards Employee of the Year 2015. Not only is that amazing news, but I’m also a semi-finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year too …

As you can imagine, we’re both very honoured and excited to be shortlisted for such a prestigious business award. We’re certainly hoping to progress to the finals and maybe one or both of us can win our categories.

“However, I’m going to concentrate on Louise’s achievements in this blog post!”

Louise has been invaluable to me over the last two years. She joined Extra Help in May 2013 as an employee to help me run the Plymouth franchise. Prior to this, she’d been a home helper for us, looking after some of our elderly, vulnerable clients.

Louise was fabulous at this, but I could see her skills and experience would be perfect in taking over growing the Plymouth franchise. Her first job was to replace herself, which thankfully she did very efficiently!

She has grown the Plymouth franchise to over a hundred clients and we now have 30 home helpers, who deliver our services across Plymouth and Saltash. The Plymouth franchise has grown more than 100% over the last 12 months and has strong foundations for future growth. This is all thanks to Louise’s hard work and dedication.

s well as running the Plymouth franchise, she helps me to train and mentor our new franchisees. She does this exceedingly well. Our last new franchisee training was great fun and in that session, we taught Natalie in Stevenage, Sue in South Manchester and Naomi our newest head office recruit. Louise also provides support and mentoring to the new franchisees in her role as Franchisee Manager, a role she is made for with her past customer service experience.

“Louise needs your votes!”

The Venus Awards Employee of the Year category is an internet based public vote so we need your help to get the votes for her. You’ve heard from me what a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the team Louise is, so please help her to get the recognition she deserves.

Thank you in advance for your help, can I just ask one more favour? Would you mind sharing this blog posts with your contacts please on email and via social media? Louise really deserves this award.

She’ll always be a winner in our eyes, but it would be great for her to get the public recognition which she rightly deserves.

Until next time …

CLAIRE ROBINSON
