Preparing For Mothers Help | A great gift for any mother-to-be …

The birth of a baby is such a wonderful event, isn’t it? After all the months and months of planning, it seems like the day will not arrive soon enough, then life just changes within a few short hours. Suddenly you have a responsibility to look after your new arrival until they are old enough to stand on their own two feet …

Whatever stage of pregnancy you are at, now is a good time to organise your Mothers Help.

We decorate nurseries, go shopping to buy all the things we need and adapt our home ready for our new child. But nothing really prepares us for all the hard work that is involved, especially in the first 12 months!

More washing, more ironing, more cooking, more cleaning, more tidying; it seems like the chores never end! But there are a couple of things we have less of that make life difficult at times and those are time and sleep.

Having more of both would certainly make a difference to parenthood and the time we spend with our growing bundle would be quality and enjoyable if someone could take away the chores. I’m sure you’d agree with me, yes?

That’s exactly what I plan to do With a baby on the way due a week before Christmas, my planning and preparation has begun already and this time, will involve Mothers Help on the run up to having the baby and for a good while after as well.

Being baby number six, I know every baby is different and needs are never the same, but if I can give my baby the time and attention it needs whilst someone else takes care of the never ending chores I can sleep when baby sleeps – just like you are supposed to! It’s very rare that any of us take that advice in this day and age though!

So preparing a Mothers Help plan during pregnancy certainly makes sense to me. Mothers Help gives me vital assistance when I most need it the most. Personally, I think this is a great gift for any mother-to-be as the whole family benefit from the service.
